DPF Cleaning – Dundalk

DPF Cleaning and Assessment at McKeown Auto Services – Keeping Your Diesel Running Smoothly

At McKeown Auto Services in Dundalk, we’re experienced in diesel particulate filter (DPF) cleaning and assessment services to help your vehicle run efficiently and meet emissions standards. A blocked or malfunctioning DPF can lead to poor performance, increased fuel consumption, and costly repairs – but we’re here to help you avoid those problems.

Your DPF plays a critical role in reducing harmful emissions by trapping and storing soot. Over time, it can become clogged, especially if your car is mainly used for short journeys where the DPF doesn’t reach the temperatures needed to regenerate. Signs of a blocked DPF include loss of power, warning lights on the dashboard, or reduced fuel efficiency.

Our expert team will assess the condition of your DPF to determine the best course of action. If cleaning is required, we’ll flush it out with our DPF cleaning machine. This process effectively removes built-up soot and ash, restoring your DPF to optimal condition and extending its lifespan.
